Marianne Williamson: Speaker of Truth & Love
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated form our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

A Return To Love
Just love this quote from Marianne. She keeps getting better and better, I am thrilled to say, from attending a recent live event where she was a keynote speaker. Her power, her impact and language are a blessing to all. When you are clear, you can invoke magic.
At one point during a lovely prayer she shared with the audience, I saw a halo of white light around her head. This light and the words she spoke moved me to tears of joy.
Her latest book, The Age of Miracles, discusses the new territory in the middle of life, a second puberty if you will. Crises at mid-life are different for men and women. At age 45-54, many women are consumed with depression. Men leave their families. All these responses indicate the inability to make the psychic transistion to a new container for the age construct.
These passages into new phases of life call for rituals and wise ceremonies. It is a process that can be celebrated, not faced with dread as the advertising industry would have us believe. By claiming it, we uplift our thought forms emotionally and spiritually.
Lower thought forms are filled with limitation, pain and fear. The right use or “righteous” use of our life and mind allow us to reduce the gap between my place now and our enlightened master. Our intellectual thoughts are like an aerobic instructor for our mind, body and spirit. Our thoughts are “the word made flesh” so Marianne instructs us to “claim higher ground”.
Marianne had many more ideas to share; check back as I will post more in the near future. To see all my posts from all the authors and speakers at Hay House “I Can Do It” click on the category to the right.
