Coaching is an intangible service best experienced. What I have to offer is not a widget or gizmo. How do I help people understand what I do besides yakking with them? When you have a large network, you bump into limitations of communication. I may be up at 4AM but who is really ready to talk with me about change and transformation in their life or business? My brain starts to fizzle later into the evening hours, so even if I could be accessible 24/7 I would hit a wall of the number of people I could have meaningful conversations with.
So, my solution has been to send consistently to my network using automated solutions.
Here’s how I got started:
Contacts: Are you using a database, spreadsheet or manual list?
Keep and maintain an updated list of names, titles, Company, email, phone and more. Create a system for adding new leads into your network.
Create an action plan based on your goals: What do you want to accomplish with your network? How can you help them? How can they help you and can you articulate it?
Hint: work with a great coach on these two if you are on the edge of figuring it out, struggling or overwhelmed. : )
Automate Your Email: Once you know what you want to say and who you want to say it to, create and install an effective and streamlined system to deliver your message and communicate regularly with those in your network.
